This exhibit featured photography, painting and etching. The Minneapolis
Star Tribune (January 14, 2000, Diversions, pp14-15) article showcased Clara
Ueland's etching "Winter", Martha Michael's photograph "Sanctuary" and
Bette Globus Goodman's photograph "Teeth in the Earth".
Mary Abbe, Star Tribune Staff Writer states:
"The show of women's photos and drawings at the Wildlife Refuge is animated by the
same supportive spirit that characterizes WARM (Women's Arts Registry of Minnesota)
shows. Many of the photos have quiet, reflective subjects. A majority of the
work is in black-and-white but the images are often toned or printed in experimental
ways. Many of the color images are simple and striking.... Look at the art,
take a walk, restore your equilibrium."
